Hooray for Disney!

Fri Feb 6, 2009, 2:15 AM
Can my only watcher and those two other writers who've been helpful please read this.

I notice that veiws and favs for my stories have been thin. So, I've decided to try and write a Disney themed story which is excelent because it will combine my love of comedy with my many other loves.

The story is called "Pharaoh" and as you may have guessed, it's about Egypt. A pharaoh's young daughter, Sapphire, is given the burden of ruling Egypt. In walks Sibuna (the old pharaoh's advisor) to assist her but secretly she wants Egypt for her own. The world is turned upside down when an un named charactor comes to Egypt with hopes to win the love of Sapphire.

Deals are made with Anubis and blah, blah, blah, some stuff happens and then happy ending.

Sounds good doesn't it?

OMG!!! Somebody please look at some of my stuff!!! I am sooooo bored of waiting!
A word of advice - this is counter productive. If you want feedback on your writing, provide feedback on other people's writing. You're only going to get comments on writing by writers, so faving and commenting on art and photos is great, and those artists will appreciate your input, however if you want someone to spend the time reading your work, read theirs and comment on it intelligently.

Also - don't get frustrated and rant if you don't get feedback right away. Keep writing, keep posting, ideally short pieces that people will be more inclined to spend time reading, and keep reading and commenting. This is a community site, and you only get community support by engaging in the support of the community.

Meh, not interested. Jaquiline Wilson didn't get famous over the web. JK Rowling wrote one of the best selling books of all time without the internet. Walt Disney, Terry Pratchet, Lemony Snicket, and so the list goes on.

It's a sad waste of time, no great writer has EVER been renouned on the internet.

I'm gone, this place will hold me back.
